Junior Church

Creating opportunities for kids (4-11 year olds) to meet Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him every day.

We create these opportunities by meeting together every Sunday during the church service (10.45-11.45am) where each month we focus on a 'Big Idea' (e.g. 'As people meet Jesus, their lives are changed!') and each week we try to communicate a core Bible truth or 'Bottom line' (e.g. 'God sent Jesus because He loves us'). We are keen to create a fun environment where the kids want to come back to week on week to learn more about God.

Parents of Junior Church kids can expect a monthly email letting them know what's happening. This is to maximise on what is taught and follow up with 'Drive Time', 'Meal Time' and 'Hang Time' activities throughout the week to help kids remember what happened on Sunday!

What can kids expect when they come along?

There is a opening where they will discover what the Big Idea is for the month and the Bottom Line for that week, there is then some worship and a chance lose some excess energy! There is a storyteller who tells the Bible story and explains the Bottom Line, with a memory verse slot to help us remember an important truth from the Bible. The kids then break into small groups by their age and explore the Bible story further - through craft and questions. Time flies when you're having fun!
