Windsor Baptist Annual Report 2006
Tapes & CDs
It is our privilege to submit this report for the year 2006.
We are blessed to have the kind of services that are worth recording, and appreciate the work that results in such services.
Seven people tend the equipment on a regular basis; and depending upon how the equipment behaves, enjoy the experience. There are times when we would find it hard to enter into discussion about the service afterwards though! Our pastors receive copies of the P.A. rota so that they know who to contact regarding any special needs. We are grateful to those who prepare material for the website's audio page.
We are not posting any cassettes now. C. D.s containing a month's services can be posted at letter rate, and some folks are using the church's web site. Those who have to work on Sunday, either in Junior Church, Crèche, or other places use the ministry as required. One lady who used the cassette ministry for many years is now too ill to have it, and we covet prayer for her.
Last June I became "digitally challenged" after falling over, and am grateful to the team for carrying on the ministry while those wonderful people in one of our hospitals put their training to good use. Thanks also to our friends who gave us lifts when we needed them.
During one of our special services, the part of our equipment which delivers the sound to our loudspeakers decided that it had served us long enough. We contacted the gentleman who oversaw the installation of the sound system thirteen years ago, and he has lent us a unit. He has agreed to investigate the price of a suitable replacement.
It's been an eventful year in many ways, but the Lord has blessed us well. May His name be praised.
